  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 2 cups water

  • 1/4 cup active ginger bug

Directions

  • Chop your strawberries and rhubarb, add to a pot, followed by sugar and 3/4 cup water.
  • Simmer for 10-15 mins. Let cool to room temperature before filtering out the pulp using a strainer.
  • Add strawberry rhubarb syrup into a swing top bottle.
  • Add your ginger bug and fill the rest of your bottle with water (around 1 1/4 cup water).
  • Let ferment at room temperature for 1-2 days. This ferments really quickly!!! So be sure to burp your bottles every day and refrigerate before opening.
  • OPEN VERY CAREFULLY AS FRUIT MAKES FERMENTATION VERY ACTIVE!
